ByteDance just open-sourced a super agent harness to replace manual agent orchestration.

It is called DeerFlow 2.0.

Connecting multi-agent systems to real-world tasks usually falls apart when coordination between subagents, memory state, and sandboxed runtimes lacks a unified execution harness.

ByteDance built an open-source framework designed for long-horizon execution:

• Orchestrates specialized subagents across isolated environments • Manages long-term context memory without token bloat • Isolates shell and Python execution inside secure sandboxes • Extends agent capabilities through modular custom skills
