Give it a goal and it picks each click from a numbered list of what’s on the page, and in the maker’s demo it finishes a real Google Flights search in 7.1 seconds. Running it takes an API key to Jev, which is metered and cheap. laya is the free, open answer to Jev, released the same day Jev launched. It answers pick-one, yes or no and score questions about any text in one pass, 24 to 29 milliseconds a call on a laptop once the model is loaded. Google’s ax runs fleets of AI agents on Kubernetes, each in its own sandbox you can watch, pause and resume. hindsight gives your agent a memory that lasts between sessions. Its release this week added a Jev reranker. And paperclip runs your agents like a company, with an org chart, budgets per agent, tickets and approval gates. That’s the one I’m installing.
