| Masking | Hiding/revealing parts of a layer |
| Motion Graphics | Animated graphic elements (text, shapes) |
| Color Grading | Enhancing the look and mood of footage |
| Color Correction | Fixing white balance, exposure, color accuracy |
| LUT | Look Up Table — preset color grade profile |
| Rendering / Export | Processing the final video file |
| Codec | Compression format (H.264, H.265, ProRes) |
| Proxy Files | Lower-resolution copies for smoother editing |
