Based on the full video transcript:

By far the best way to increase the performance of your video, podcast, and YouTube videos in general is to really prioritize some sweet editing in that first minute or two. In fact, you could put the majority of your editing effort to that first 2 or 3 minutes of your video and then get very lazy with the rest of your video and you will see your views, your podcast, and YouTube performance skyrocket. And this is why. Because if the majority of the people who click on your thumbnail watch it for longer than 2 minutes, that will ignite YouTube’s suggesting algorithm and YouTube will absolutely start showing your videos to more people. The more people they show it to, the more people click on your thumbnail, the more they watch it for 2 minutes, viral videos. And so in this video, I’m going to share with you my favorite cap cut effects and editing tricks for video podcast episodes specifically, but you can also put these really cool effects to use on any YouTube video. The good news is it’s very accessible even if you’re a beginner editor. Caput has a free version you could download, but I’m going to be exploring some of the pro options. And hey, I don’t even know how much it is, but it’s pretty cheap. So come on, you ready? Let’s get to it. So I am using Capka all of the time for client projects and also for our own videos here on YouTube. I specifically use it for the cool animations and transitions and captions that it has. And I’m going to show you just how easy all this is. While this isn’t a complete Cap Cut tutorial, I will be breaking down how I do what I do. So, roll up your sleeves cuz we’re going to move quick. You can always slow this video down. You can come back to it at any time you want. So, I’m just going to cruise through it. Something that is very common for podcasters is to introduce their guest when they first have him on an episode. It’s important for our audience to know who our guest is and to introduce them. But in the case of many of us, when we are introducing our guest, perhaps when they are there with us on a virtual interview, it can be a little awkward. We don’t get the best performance. And we really as an editor wind up needing to cut into that performance a lot. Like in the case of my client here, I really wanted to cut into this guest introduction when she was introducing the guest. But if I cut into it too much, then there’s too many jump cuts and it’s jarring and jittery, which I love for YouTube videos. But for a podcast audience, podcast audiences really like to feel like they’re a fly on the wall, and they like the editing to be a little more transparent. So, as an editor, we have to get tricky to not have our editing be so obvious and blatant. This is why I love doing animated graphical guest introduction videos. And if you’re lucky enough for your guest to already have some video content somewhere, maybe they have been interviewed on a news channel or they have some footage of them speaking on stage, any video you can get of your guest, then you can screen capture that video. You don’t need to screen capture the audio. And that’s what we’re going to do in this case with the guest Rachel Barcow. So, let’s go ahead and open up a brand new fresh baby Cap Cut project. And I’ll show you exactly what I’m talking about. Just click create project. Here we are. The panels in Cap Cut is so intuitive, laid out much like any other video editing solution. We have a place to drop in our media here along the top. And of course, along the top, you’ll find all of the tools you need to create amazing things. Over to the right, we have kind of a parameters window, which will allow you to adjust the parameters of anything that you have selected in your timeline, which is along the bottom here. Right in the middle, we have the player or the program monitor it’s called in other applications. So, I’m just going to go ahead and drag in the audio from the host introducing the guest. Now, this audio, like I said,
