Key Responsibilities
- Add new projects to OpenShift, writing blueprints
- Participate in architectural discussions
- Guide the team on various OpenShift components and solutions
- Handle network outages — debugging and immediate resolutions
- Work closely with customers and onsite teams across the globe
- Raise and track issues with partner vendors
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting
- Develop and execute Proof of Concept / Deployment Acceptance test plans and reports
- Develop implementation guides with configuration templates and deployment plans for customers deploying SDN products
- Provide technical direction to internal teams and customers based on business requirements
Essential Requirements
- Candidate must be an EU citizen and hold a NATO clearance
- 8+ years in IT/Telecom, 4+ years in cloud computing
- Red Hat OpenShift platform is mandatory; RHOCP platform, routing/switching, Cisco network hardware
- Container tech: Docker, Kubernetes; IaaS products
- Virtualization (vSphere, Xen, KVM, RHV, Docker) and cloud (OpenStack, OpenShift)
- Strong Linux/CentOS/Ubuntu troubleshooting
- L2/L3 networking; IPv4 & IPv6; BGP / OSPF routing
- Deep SDN (Software-Defined Network) knowledge
- Network concepts: DNS, DHCP, VPN, port config, link aggregation, spanning-tree optimization, performance tuning
- Load balancers: hardware/software troubleshooting, data-flow knowledge
- CLI for OpenShift modules; network design/planning for telco-grade deployment
- Shell scripting or Python
- Strong communication; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Nice to have: RedHat OpenShift certification.
